Computer issues in North Carolina…

We are still hiding out in Dickens RV Park and yes the rain and wind has finally stopped. I hadn’t blogged lately due to the fact that my computer is out of commission. With all the rain we had I decided it would be a great time to fix my laptop. The hinge on the outside of the case had broken and the CPU fan was failing. I had ordered parts to repair these items and after disassembling the laptop and putting it all back to the monitor didn’t want to work. So now I needed to order a replacement motherboard since the monitor plug had failed. So hopefully I will get the parts soon and can get my laptop back in shape and get back to blogging. Until then todays blog will serve as history of this tragic computer event…

For the past few days we have been simply enjoying life. We have played some disc golf and visited a few breweries so even without my laptop life is still good…

  1. Its amazing that we can still have a life without computers that have become so much a part of our lives.
    Good luck with the repairs.

  2. What? No computer? I can't even begin to imagine. I would have been on Amazon or NewEgg and had a new one at my door ... wherever my door might be. :)
