I know vinegar is good for cleaning rugs, just didn't know the ratio. 8-10 times, really? Sounds like quite a work out. We still haven't cleaned our carpets after gate guarding last year. They really need it!!

How long does it take your rugs to dry, given some hot days with all the windows open??TravelBug-Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01974719934652737928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885468929827985437.post-78073459569333048402013-03-20T20:28:22.234-05:002013-03-20T20:28:22.234-05:001/3 vinegar to 2/3 water! Wish we were in a place where we were even allowed to wash the outside. A car wash with a truck bay is definitely in our future. Thanks for the rug Doctor tip. What's the ratio of vinegar to water you use. I've never used one of those rentals because I don't want the chemicals but the inside sure could use a cleaning.Sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00328866430156879312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885468929827985437.post-82933481166015885022013-03-20T13:13:57.863-05:002013-03-20T13:13:57.863-05:00Thanks for the tip on the Rug Doctor. Daughter in NJ has a Bissell that I used back in Dec. Really didn't do a good job. Where we are now, gate guarding, the driveway back to the rig is only 10 feet from our door and is dusty Texas dust. I will need to go a GOOD cleaning when we hit the road again.

Speaking of hitting the road, drive safe and enjoy your next destination.Phyllishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09184706027679979998noreply@blogger.com
