He spent more on it than most people have spent on new cars, but if we want to make this work he will have to. Even if we decided to only go for a couple of years, the size of the components and speakers are not going to work in a small house or condo.

Glad you sold the piano. I guess if the sale of the house had gone thru last month these things would be even harder.Merikayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05378095339747943548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885468929827985437.post-1468227133420915372010-07-19T13:21:06.366-05:002010-07-19T13:21:06.366-05:00I'm sorry you had to sell your piano. Maybe you can consider getting a small keyboard to play if the mood strikes you.

Nellie
http://midlifecruiser.blogspot.comThE MidLiFe CrUiSeRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08958004873717796137noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8885468929827985437.post-55232312914375816882010-07-19T06:37:59.805-05:002010-07-19T06:37:59.805-05:00Oh it's so nice that someone else will love an...Oh it's so nice that someone else will love and appreciate your piano!

I know I will feel the same twinges when I sell off my looms. But ya know what? I can always buy another loom or two when we come back off the road. Plus I am taking along my favorite table loom that stows easily in our basement compartments. And I have friends all over the country with looms that I can stop and visit and weave on.

I bet you can find pianos to play all over as you travel. Even churches have them if you wish to stop in for a weekday visit. For a small donation you could probably play to your heart's content! Same with community centers, senior centers or even a music store!

And there will always be another piano for sale too if the time comes for you to come off the road!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Karen and Steve
(Our Blog) RVing: Small House...
